Connaughty Investment Ltd is a family corporation that has owned both businesses and real estate in Calgary, Alberta since its incorporation in 1981.
This is a skilled family team actively involved in the acquisition and management of revenue-producing real estate.

Connaughty Investment Ltd. is happy to announce the sale of the old Kensington Floors building at 1221 Kensington Road. The property, comprising one half a city block, was purchased by Truman Homes of Calgary. The show home for Kensington Floors Carpet One has moved to 39 4th Street NE (Edmonton Trail) Calgary, AB T2E 3R6.

Connaughty Investment Ltd. has recently acquired Kelowna Carpet One in Kelowna, BC. Asked why such a departure from its normal system of acquiring revenue property in central Calgary, Mark Healy, CEO commented “if Real Estate is in our blood, the floor covering business must be in our bones!”. Kensington Floor Covering, a 50 year Calgary institution, was, until recently, owned by Bill Healy, family head and founder of Connaughty Investment Ltd. Vince Healy has been appointed General Manager of the new store and Daniel Tarini has transferred from the Calgary store.
Connaughty Investment has recently acquired 9 beautiful attached homes at Rainbow Falls in Chestermere. These comfortable villas, carefully designed and crafted by Lionsworthe Homes, are designed for empty nesters and feature gorgeous hardwood floors, expansive wrap-around decks, and walk-out basements with 9’ceilings. Most of them have enviable west-facing views of either the canal or a lovely park and bike path. Connaughty Investment Ltd. will be leasing some of these units, and are putting others up for sale through Baxter and Associates Real Estate Services.
Connaughty Investment Ltd. has a new home! Work has been completed on the offices at A5-624 Beaver Dam Road on the second floor. The 1000 square feet of office space boasts four spacious offices, a reception area, a boardroom, and a coffee room. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 – 5:00 p.m.
